Meeting Info

Altrusa International: Consists of more than 350 clubs in 13 countries and has over 11,000 members worldwide.  The Lexington club is part of District Six, which includes clubs from Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. All Altrusa Clubs are governed by and operate under the umbrella of Altrusa International.  Altrusa also serves as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the United Nations. 

The Lexington Club is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. 

Dinner/Business Meeting: The meeting includes current business, good food and great fellowship. The is generally a special guest speaker or a special activity at the meetings.

Board Meeting: The board consists of our elected officers and directors. The board meets the Thursday prior to the club meeting.

Committees: There are several standing committees -- Communications, Fundraising, Membership and Service -- that manage the various tasks that keep the club functioning and vibrant. You can learn more about us and how we function by viewing the tabs above.
